
We are an old family of brewers and brewing beer is our family tradition. The responsibility for the production quality is not anonymous.
The production of quality beer needs its time. We follow traditional Czech manufacturing processes and our beer matures in a unique rock labyrinth of 800 year-old beer-storage cellar for 40 days.
Our production is controlled by a brewer, not a share price. The beer quality has always been our family’s preference.
The surrounding unspoilt nature has a significant influence on the quality of the local ingredients used. The water is taken exclusively from our own Artesian wells and for malting we use barley grown on the fields of the Bohemian Forest. We do not work with any malt substitutes and we do not thin our beer through HGB technology.
Quality has its price, thus you will not find our beer in the assortment of cheap and anonymous beers.
Before lining, our beer does not undergo any chemical or thermal modification. We carefully care for keeping the natural character of our beer and we use the latest diaphragm filtration technology for its treatment.
We know one another, we meet and support local sporting, communal and cultural events. Our beer is no TV star but a real breath of fresh air for both taste buds and soul of every beer lover.
Glass is the best material that can maintain the character and taste features of beer. A unique appliance installed in the family brewery Chodovar enables bottling beer into special glass bottles with patent fasteners. We care for our environment and thus we encourage the system of returnable containers. A beautiful bottle belongs to beautiful beer.
The traditional technology keeps the distinctive character of the beer. Only the brewer’s soul and traditional manufacturing processes can provide a customer with a variety of tastes and beer sorts.
We do not do our business here today and elsewhere tomorrow. The beer brewing tradition in our family is an inseparable part of both the local history and present days.
